The Learning on Country Program is a nationally recognised initiative that connects school-based education with Aboriginal cultural knowledge and ranger programs.

As a Business and Communications Officer, you will play a vital part in this program, supporting operations across multiple remote communities in the Northern Territory.

This role offers a unique opportunity to utilise your business, communication and organisational skills to ensure all operations align with organisational policies and funding requirements.

You will be responsible for contract management, procurement, payments, program reporting, and compliance.

The position also has a strong communications focus, coordinating social media platforms, website content, and communication strategies.

You will manage logistical arrangements for program promotional events, workshops and meetings, ensuring consistent and professional messaging and delivery across audiences.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who has experience in financial planning and management, including budgeting, procurement and cost management.

Excellent cross-cultural, interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to engage and coordinate across diverse stakeholders.

You should have knowledge of and experience in effectively utilising a range of social media platforms and website maintenance.
