About Our Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and culturally aware Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the Greater Darwin Area.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, culturally appropriate primary health care services to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive primary health care services using standard treatment manuals and protocols
  • Develop strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support to clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification and/or Certificate IV in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice)
  • Current registration as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner/Nurse with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated awareness of and sensitivity to Aboriginal culture and history, including knowledge of local community needs and expectations
