Senior Sustainability Expert - Project Delivery

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Sustainability Expert to lead project delivery in the Northern Territory.

This role involves leading environmental impact assessments, approvals, and regulatory strategies for mining, defence, and infrastructure projects across the region.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of NT and Commonwealth legislation, and proven success navigating complex approvals pathways.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sustainable development strategies for large-scale projects
  • Collaborate with clients, auditors, and regulators to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to organisational growth
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in environmental science, engineering, planning, or related field
  • 15+ years' experience in approvals/impact assessment, ideally within the NT or Australian context
