Injury Prevention Specialist

As a Physiotherapist, you'll deliver purpose-driven care in a collaborative environment at our modern and well-equipped Robertson Health Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries in Defence Force members.
- Work closely with doctors, nurses, PTIs, and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Focus on injury prevention, performance, return-to-duty, and long-term wellbeing.
- Use your clinical judgement to manage a diverse caseload across outpatient, rehab, and gym-based settings.
- Conduct group therapy, hydrotherapy, and equipment-assisted programs to enhance patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records, participating in continuous quality improvement and audits.
- Stay up-to-date through professional development, innovation, and strong clinical governance frameworks.
- Registration as a Physiotherapist (Unrestricted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent post-grad experience in musculoskeletal or rehabilitation physiotherapy
- Current CPR Certificate
- Ongoing professional development participation aligned with standards
- Membership of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA)
- Australian Citizenship required for Defence clearance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
