
Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our diverse team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with clients who may be living with an illness, disability, or injury, providing tailored support to help them achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
- This includes case management, working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs, and assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
- You will also complete assessments using your clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
Your expertise in psychology or rehabilitation counselling will enable you to provide high-quality services to clients, while your experience working in the occupational rehabilitation industry will be highly regarded.

Key Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling;
- General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);
