Dynamic Physiotherapy Opportunities

This role presents a unique chance to contribute to the health and wellbeing of Australian Defence Force (ADF) members as a casual physiotherapist.

You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment delivering evidence-based assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for musculoskeletal injuries.

The successful candidate will work closely with doctors, nurses, PTIs, and allied health professionals to provide holistic care that supports ADF members' physical and emotional wellbeing.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to ADF members, focusing on injury prevention, performance, return-to-duty, and long-term wellbeing.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing support to clients.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues to ensure seamless care.
  • Manage a diverse caseload across outpatient, rehab, and gym-based settings.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist (Unrestricted)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent post-grad experience in musculoskeletal or rehabilitation physiotherapy
  • Current CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
  • Ongoing CPD participation aligned with AHPRA standards
  • APA Membership (highly regarded)
  • Australian Citizenship (required for Defence clearance)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance
