Operations Site Lead

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily and weekly priorities of the site. Directly leading the team members onsite, you will ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Execute routine operations in accordance with established policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety, and environmental compliance.
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to guarantee customer and food safety requirements are met.
- Ensure operational plans are executed efficiently.
- High emphasis is placed on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to casual staff at the site.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience with plant operations, implements, and attachments, tractors, tele handlers, bulk material conveying, and small plant and hand tools is essential.
- Training and certifications will be provided for additional required tickets and licenses.
- Experience within the grain industry or bulk material handling sector is highly regarded.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety standards is required, with an ability to promote a proactive safety culture.
- A hands-on and practical approach to work tasks, along with problem-solving skills, is necessary.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
