">Job Purpose and Impact

This hands-on position involves executing daily and weekly site priorities, directly supervising team members onsite, ensuring they have the necessary training and competence to perform duties across various operations including harvest reception, grain classification, stacking, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn, road, and rail operations, as well as general bunker management.

The successful candidate will prioritize work tasks while maintaining a focus on quality and cost control, ensuring safety protocols are executed effectively.

">Key Accountabilities
  • Execute routine operations in accordance with policies and procedures related to employee, food, and feed safety, as well as environmental compliance.
  • Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Operate within established budget guidelines.
  • Foster high-quality customer service.
  • Implement operational plans at the site level.
  • Develop, supervise, and coach casual staff at the site.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
">Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience with plant operations, machinery, attachments, tractors, telehandlers, bulk material conveying, and small plant and hand tools.
  • Training and certifications provided for additional required licenses and tickets.
  • Prior experience within the grain industry or bulk material handling sector is highly regarded.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety standards, along with a willingness to promote a proactive safety culture, address unsafe work practices, and prevent hazards.
  • A practical approach to work tasks, coupled with problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
