">Job Purpose and Impact

In this hands-on role, you'll oversee daily and weekly site priorities and directly lead onsite team members, ensuring they're trained and competent in various operational areas including harvest receivals, grain classification, stack building, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn and general bunker operations.

You will ensure safe execution of work priorities while maintaining quality and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute routine operations according to policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.
  • Monitor production outcomes, quantity and quality to meet customer and food safety requirements.
  • Operate within established budget guidelines.
  • Focus on Customer Service.
  • Develop and implement operational plans at site.
  • Provide coaching and supervision to casual staff at site.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Experience in plant operations, implements and attachments, tractors, tele handlers, bulk material conveying and small plant and hand tools.
  • Training and certifications provided for additional required tickets and licenses.
  • Grain industry or bulk material handling experience highly regarded.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety standards with ability to promote proactive safety culture and address unsafe work or practices.
  • Hands-on and practical approach to work tasks with problem-solving ability.
  • A valid driver's license is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Whilst this is a salaried role, there may be expectation of willingness to work extra/flexible hours when needed to meet customer requirements.
