Compensation Specialist Job Description:

Our organization seeks an expert in compensation to drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will analyze market trends and data to design innovative reward programs that boost employee engagement, retention, and profitability.

  • Provide analytical support to the reward team on compensation reviews, including comprehensive market research.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish a robust total rewards framework that ties Canva's jobs to external market benchmarks.
  • Develop targeted recommendations informed by data analysis for reviewing and enhancing reward programs.
  • Accurately calculate internal mobility requests for employees transitioning to new roles or international assignments.
  • Support contractor rate renewal requests and respond to inquiries from various teams.
  • Communicate complex topics effectively to educate stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A background in a similar role, preferably in consulting and in-house environments.
  • Strong passion for data analysis and a proven ability to leverage data to inspire action.
  • Hands-on experience in operational settings and a bias for taking decisive actions.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative environment towards shared objectives.
  • Experience setting up scalable systems to support a growing workforce is advantageous.
