As a Volunteer District Manager, you will empower adult leadership teams to deliver fun and creative activities for girls and young women, fostering their overall growth and development.

Your engagement with the local community, administrative management, and promotional skills will ensure the sustainability of Girl Guides within your community, providing opportunities for girls for many years to come.

About You

You may be seeking experience that helps you develop leadership skills in leading other adults, or you may have great life or career experience to share and some time to give back to your local community.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong operational and organizational abilities
  • A curious approach to learning and life
  • An empathetic and compassionate nature
  • A passion for leading and empowering other adults
  • Access to email and ability to undertake online and face-to-face training
  • Prior knowledge of Girl Guides, Scouts, or Girl Scouts is a bonus but not essential
