Senior Environmental Manager

The role of Senior Environmental Manager is to lead a team in the administration of environmental legislation, ensuring compliance and regulatory frameworks are met.

Key responsibilities include leading assessments, approvals, and licensing of activities that may impact the environment, as well as undertaking compliance and enforcement action.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in environmental science, management, and auditing, with the ability to manage multiple projects, negotiate, problem-solve, and mentor staff.

A key aspect of this role is providing guidance and feedback to team members, supporting their professional development, and offering specialist advice.

The Senior Environmental Manager will work closely with the team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of environmental outcomes.
