Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our Clinical Trials team as a Lead Clinician. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical delivery of a cutting-edge trial targeting personalised treatment for eating disorders.

The trial will involve delivering high-quality psychological therapy to participants under trial conditions, ensuring adherence to ethical and clinical research standards while maintaining participant safety, engagement, and treatment integrity.

As a key member of our team, you will also be responsible for supervising and supporting clinicians, guiding them in delivering patient-centred care in accordance with the trial protocol and treatment manual.

  • Lead the clinical delivery within the trial
  • Deliver high-quality psychological therapy to trial participants
  • Supervise and support clinicians

Other key responsibilities include collaborating closely with research and clinical teams, contributing clinical insights to inform shared decision-making, and overseeing the collection and management of clinical data.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent combination training and experience. You will also require Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

In addition, you will need to have significant clinical experience in the treatment of eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, across different service settings and age groups. Proven experience in the delivery of mental health and/or substance use interventions within clinical trial settings is also essential.

  • Significant clinical experience in treating eating disorders
