About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and skilled mental health professional to provide clinical therapy, meal support, information, and advice to individuals struggling with eating disorders.
The successful candidate will work closely with patients and their caregivers to develop personalized strategies for healthy living practices, reducing disordered eating, and promoting a balanced relationship with food.
- Provide direct provision of clinical therapy and meal support
- Offer general information and advice on eating disorders in a group setting
- Advise, counsel, and educate patients and caregivers on individual or group basis
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Honours degree in psychology, counselling, occupational therapy, social work, or similar field
- Registration or provisional registration with a relevant professional body
- Experience working with individuals with eating disorders and other mental health conditions
- Sound understanding of eating disorders, disordered eating, and related issues
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical therapy and meal support to individuals with eating disorders
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
- Collaborating with patients and their caregivers to promote healthy living practices
