Senior Eating Disorder Therapist

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality psychological therapy to trial participants, adhering to ethical and clinical research standards and maintaining participant safety, engagement, and treatment integrity.
- Supervise and support clinicians in delivering patient-centred care, ensuring consistent, evidence-based practice across the trial sites.
- Collaborate closely with research and clinical teams, contributing clinical insights to inform shared decision-making and supporting the alignment of therapeutic delivery with research objectives.
- Oversee the collection and management of clinical data, ensuring accurate documentation of therapy sessions and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Contribute to the innovation and impact of the trial, helping to test and refine personalised psychological treatment packages for eating disorders.
About You:
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent combination training and experience.
- Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Psychology with AHPRA, with demonstrated excellence in delivering evidence-based psychological therapies and mental health assessments.
- Proven experience in delivering mental health and/or substance use interventions within clinical trial settings, with working knowledge of evidence-based healthcare and ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
- Significant clinical experience in treating eating disorders (including AN), using diverse treatment modalities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to apply clinical reasoning to complex presentations.
- Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and uphold clinical integrity.
