Hotel Facilities Operations Lead

This role oversees daily hotel facilities operations, ensuring overall functionality and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include managing maintenance personnel, engaging contractors, project management, safety regulation adherence, and coordination with other departments.

The ideal candidate possesses strong supervisory skills, administration, and technical expertise, along with proficiency in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance. Excellent problem-solving, organizational skills are required, as well as the ability to work on-site in Port Douglas, QLD. Relevant certifications or experience in hospitality is advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of daily hotel facilities operations for the property, including equipment maintenance and repair, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintenance of overall hotel facilities functionality and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Management of a team of maintenance personnel and engagement with external contractors.
  • Project management of maintenance initiatives and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Interdepartmental coordination to address facility needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in Hotel Facilities Management and Maintenance & Repair (Strata experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong administrative and technical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Able to work on-site in Port Douglas, QLD.
  • Relevant certifications in maintenance or engineering are beneficial.
  • Experience in the Hospitality industry is desirable.
