Facilities Operations Specialist

Job Role:
Maintain hotel facilities and ensure safety compliance as a Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee equipment maintenance and repair, implementing preventive programs.
- Maintain relationships with Body Corporate to address facility needs.
- Manage a team of maintenance personnel, including supervision and mentoring.
- Engage contractors for maintenance services.
- Project manage maintenance initiatives, ensuring safety regulations compliance.
- Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs.
Required Skills:
- Experience in Maintenance Management and Maintenance & Repair (Strata experience preferred).
- Strong Supervisory Skills and ability to manage a team.
- Strong administration and technical skills.
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Port Douglas, QLD.
- Relevant certifications in maintenance or engineering are beneficial.
- Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
