Job Summary

The Maintenance Manager role is a full-time, on-site position responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, equipment maintenance and repair, preventive maintenance, and maintaining hotel facilities functionality.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, including equipment maintenance and repair, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain overall hotel facility functionality and coordinate with relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Manage a team of maintenance personnel and engage with external contractors.
  • Project manage maintenance initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs.
Requirements:
  • Experience in maintenance management and maintenance & repair (strata experience preferred but not required).
  • Strong supervisory skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Strong administration and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Port Douglas, QLD.
  • Relevant certifications in maintenance or engineering are a plus.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
