Advanced Oncology Care Specialist

This is a complex role that requires advanced knowledge in oncology care coordination. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical organization, leadership and consultancy services within the oncology service and target populations.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC2) is responsible for facilitating linkages and relationships with healthcare professionals to support patient management. This includes providing assessment, care planning and review of patients in collaboration with primary service providers to ensure evidence-based practice is utilised.

The current scope of practice is care coordination of patients receiving concurrent Chemoradiation therapy. The CNC2 will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients receiving complex treatment.

As a Category A position, this role requires candidates to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy.
