Advanced Oncology Nurse Coordinator

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced nurse to provide advanced level nursing services as an expert in the specialty field of oncology care coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating linkages and relationships with healthcare professionals to support patient management.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing assessment, care planning, and review of patients in collaboration with primary service providers to ensure evidence-based practice is utilized.
- Expert clinical organization, coordination, leadership, and consultancy services within the oncology service and target populations in the Northern NSW region.
- Care coordination of patients receiving concurrent chemoradiation therapy.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work collaboratively, and a high level of clinical expertise in oncology care coordination. They will also have experience working in a similar role and be familiar with relevant policies and procedures.
