Oncology Coordinator Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Coordinator to provide expert clinical organisation, coordination and consultancy services within our oncology service.

This is a challenging role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

As an Oncology Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the care of patients receiving concurrent Chemoradiation therapy, providing assessment, care planning and review of patients in collaboration with primary service providers.

The successful candidate will have a sound understanding of cancer treatment options and be able to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical organisation, coordination and consultancy services within the oncology service.

  • Assess and plan care for patients in collaboration with primary service providers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Local Health District nurses/midwives and medical officers to support patient management.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to oncology care.

Requirements
