This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Electrical Colo Regional Engineer. If you are passionate about delivering full life-cycle support to Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance, this role could be for you.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will work with colo vendors to review the design for new Data Centers in your region, including design input, submittal review and incorporating AWS products to ensure the design is meeting AWS expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot complex issues with data center equipment, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation.
- Directly support operational issues with ad-hoc training, complex operating procedure reviews, including essential equipment, and event support.
- Provide technical support to the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions, which add capacity, improve availability, and increase efficiency.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience and 6+ cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and writing skills, attention to detail, maintain high quality standards and direct experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ cumulative years of experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities.
- Possess excellent communication and writing skills.
- DIRECT EXPERIENCE WITH THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, OPERATION OR MAINTENANCE OF MISSION CRITICAL FACILITIES ESPECIALLY DATA CENTERS
