Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the role of Data Center Operation Technician in our Data Center Engineering Operations team.

This critical position involves maintaining the highest standards of safety and security while providing seamless infrastructure support to our customers. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple variables impacting the supply chain, requiring strong problem-solving skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will join a diverse group of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. They will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues on various platforms, including systems, networks, power, and cooling equipment. Additionally, they will participate in data center power and cooling events, ensuring correct rotation of parts and spares, and help define metrics to increase customer uptime.

This role requires a strong background in server hardware, UNIX/Linux operating systems, and server hardware troubleshooting. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience in server hardware and 1+ year of experience in UNIX/Linux operating systems. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are also required for travel between sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot technical issues on various platforms, including systems, networks, power, and cooling equipment.
  • Participate in data center power and cooling events, ensuring correct rotation of parts and spares.
  • Help define metrics to increase customer uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
