Electrical Colo Regional Engineer

You will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to data centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance.

As the go-to engineering resource for your region, you will provide technical advice and use your subject matter expertise to engage with diverse teams.

  • Review colo vendor designs for new data centers in your region, incorporating AWS products to meet expectations.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and handover as resident engineer during new colo projects.
  • Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and create corrective action documentation.
  • Provide training and procedural reviews to address operational issues.
  • Support data center upgrades, improving availability, efficiency, and capacity.
  • Lead design approvals for existing data center upgrades.
  • Promote standards of consistency and reliability in services delivered by operating partners.
  • Work on concurrent projects across multiple geographical regions.
  • Initiate and lead site audits within leased or colo data centers, producing reports outlining risks and recommended mitigations.
