Job Title: Data Center Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure operations group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and efficiency of our data center facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center management, with experience in managing critical systems such as power distribution, cooling, and fire suppression. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain critical systems, including power distribution, cooling, and fire suppression
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repair
  • Respond to emergencies, including power outages, equipment failures, and other critical incidents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, facilities, and IT to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance data center operations

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data center management, with a focus on critical systems
  • Strong knowledge of building management systems (BMS), power distribution systems (PDS), and fire suppression systems
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, UPS, and cooling systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
