Job Title: Placement Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee and coordinate fieldwork placements for a Bachelor of Community Services program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing community services field placements, including developing systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Providing support and guidance to students, agency supervisors, and host organizations throughout the placement process.
  • Collaborating with academic staff and the Work Placement Team to develop policies, administer agreements, and maintain academic standards.
  • Designing and delivering preparation workshops for students, recruiting and training Academic Liaison Visitors, and fostering a positive culture within the team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree or higher in Social Work, Community Services, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years' relevant post-qualification industry experience. They will also possess full membership or eligibility for full membership of the relevant professional association, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
