Insurance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced insurance specialist to join our placement team. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to work with complex commercial risks and develop their skills in the field.

About the Role

This role involves supporting the placement of complex commercial risks across property and liability lines. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and market partners to structure bespoke insurance programs, with responsibilities including:

  • Preparing and negotiating placement submissions
  • Coordinating with brokers and underwriters across multiple markets
  • Managing documentation and compliance requirements
  • Conducting market research to inform placement strategy
  • Attending meetings and contributing to client engagement

You will be working from our Sydney office and will have access to both local and international markets.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • At least 35 years experience in insurance broking, underwriting or placement
  • Familiarity with commercial property or liability products
  • Tier 1 broking qualification (or Tier 2 with pathway to Tier 1)
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Professional maturity and a proactive approach
