About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee and coordinate fieldwork placements for our Bachelor of Community Services program.

The successful candidate will manage all aspects of community services field placements, ensuring high-quality, compliant experiences for our students. This will involve building relationships with external organizations, developing systems to ensure CWA compliance, and providing essential support and guidance throughout the placement process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Placement Management: Develop and implement effective strategies for managing field placements, including procurement, establishment, assessment, and monitoring.
  • Student Support: Provide high-quality support and guidance to students, agency supervisors, and host organizations throughout the placement process.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with academic staff, industry partners, and other stakeholders to develop policies, administer agreements, oversee student records, and maintain academic standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor Degree or higher in Social Work, Community Services, Social Welfare, or Human Services.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant post-qualification industry experience.
  • Full membership or eligibility for full membership of the Community Work Australia (CWA).
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving, organisational, and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the accreditation requirements, Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines of Community Work Australia (CWA).
