Key Responsibilities

The Head of Retail & Revenue Growth is responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize Virgin Australia's profitability and achieve retail and partnership marketing goals.

This role involves leading the development of strategic marketing plans for B2C retail and overseeing the tourism and alliance portfolios for both domestic and international operations, with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer marketing and communications across multiple markets.

Main Objectives:

  • Maximize Virgin Australia's profitability through strategic retail and revenue growth initiatives
  • Develop and execute effective marketing plans to achieve retail and partnership marketing goals
  • Lead the development of strategic marketing plans for B2C retail and oversee the tourism and alliance portfolios
  • Drive direct-to-consumer marketing and communications across multiple markets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive retail experience and a proven track record of managing commercial sponsorships and partnerships
  • Robust digital campaign management skills and experience in driving digital media effectiveness
  • Ability to develop strategy and deliver commercial outcomes, particularly in relation to retail and partners
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in leading a team to deliver on a plan or strategy
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to engage key decision-makers across all levels of the business
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and drive results-oriented initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive business decisions
