About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Team Global Express. As a trusted Account Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, nurturing a select portfolio of our most valued clients, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quarterly sales plans for all customers in the portfolio
  • Review and ensure all revenue, rates, cost modelling, billing details, and contractual arrangements are accurate and up-to-date
  • Conduct thorough customer profitability modelling to ensure each customer meets appropriate profitability benchmarks
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with management, operational staff, and drivers
  • Establish and report competitor/market information to management

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales or account management, preferably in a service-based industry
  • High-level solution selling, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Key personality traits include positivity, drive, tenacity, and a results-focused mindset
  • Intermediate-level PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Valid Australian car license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the logistics, transportation, supply chain, and/or heavy industries
  • Salesforce experience
  • Power BI expertise
  • Business and/or logistics degree
