About the role

As a Manager or Senior Manager, you will work with our talented leadership team and have responsibility for a portfolio of clients. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tax and accounting advice and solutions to clients, including family groups, trusts, and partnerships, mid-market companies, and multinational groups.
  • Continuing to develop your technical expertise across a wide range of disciplines, including tax and accounting compliance, and business and tax advisory.
  • Developing your skills across a broad range of issues or specializing in a chosen field, including the opportunity to select a sector specialization.
  • Accessing nationally developed resources and learning from service line specialists, as you utilize best-in-class technology to deliver innovative solutions to clients.
  • Playing a key role across the full scope of client engagements, including regular client contact and attending client meetings.
  • Growing as a coach and mentor, developing your managerial skills, and overseeing team members.
  • Working with a dedicated development Director or Partner on your career growth and personal goals.

What we are looking for

We are seeking someone with:

  • Experience in tax, accounting, and business advisory services in a similar environment, ideally in a top-tier or mid-tier accounting firm.
  • Experience in managing a portfolio of clients and managing junior staff in their development.
  • Advanced tax technical knowledge relevant to individuals, trusts, partnerships, and private companies.
  • Strong accounting skills and experience in preparing special purpose financial statements.
  • Ability to build strong and lasting business relationships.
  • A client-centric approach and ability to understand your clients' business.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.

Education requirements

  • Business/Commerce degree with Accounting Major.
  • Completed CA or equivalent.
