About The Role:
This is a hands-on, strategic position focused on building a high-growth division. You will:
- Create and implement a national B2B retail plan, identifying key markets and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major hardware retailers and key distributors using your established network.
- Lead and mentor a small, dedicated sales team to achieve their targets.
- Structure deals, oversee commercial agreements, and work with internal product and marketing teams to ensure successful outcomes.
- Report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Your Skills Set:
You must have a minimum of 10 years in B2B sales, with an extensive network in the hardware, plumbing, or trade supplies retail sector. Additionally, you should possess proven experience in category management and creating long-term channel partnerships. A credible industry reputation and ability to build trust are also essential. Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills are required, with a readiness to take ownership of the channel's success.
What's On Offer:
This role provides a base salary of $140,000 - $160,000 + Super, as well as bonus potential up to an additional 55% of your base salary for achieving key targets. Other benefits include a car allowance + Fuel card and free on-site parking. This position offers a clear pathway to a National Sales Director position and prioritizes work-life balance through hybrid work flexibility.
