About the Role

This role is based in Darwin and involves spearheading our national work in contributing to the elimination of rheumatic fever and heart disease in Australia. You will work closely with First Nations communities, health professionals, government agencies, and other stakeholders to drive advocacy, community-led health initiatives, and public engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategy and operations in the Northern Territory.
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders across government, health, and community sectors.
  • Drive impactful advocacy and contribute to policy change on cardiovascular health.
  • Represent the organization in media, public forums, and stakeholder engagements.
  • Provide cultural leadership and support community-led responses to heart health, especially within First Nations communities.
  • Collaborate with national teams to align regional efforts with strategic goals.
