Your opportunity
Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation is seeking a Regional Clinical Educator to plan, coordinate, facilitate, evaluate and support Miwatj Health/'s clinical learning and clinical workforce development initiatives and activities for Nurses, Midwives and Aboriginal Health Practitioners including trainees. The role will deliver training in the context of rural and isolated practice.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Darwin or Nhulunbuy with regular travel to the East Arnhem Region.
What/'s in it for you?
- RN5 $141,119 - $147,041 per annum + 12% superannuation
- Ability to salary package up to $15,900 + an additional $2,650 on Meals and Entertainment
About Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation
Miwatj Health is an independent Aboriginal Community-Controlled Health Service. Established in 1992, we/u2019re committed to providing quality services across East Arnhem Land and enabling Yol/u0140u powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary and public health for over 6,000 residents of this remote landscape. With a Head Office in Nhulunbuy, and a Corporate Office in Darwin, our delivery focuses on 7 health centres across East Arnhem Land and dedicated outreach teams who travel to additional locations.
What we/u2019re looking for in you
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Yol/u014Bk people in remote settings. Candidates should hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least 5 years of clinical experience. They should have experience as a Clinical Educator, educator and/or in the planning, coordination, facilitation and support of workforce learning and development initiatives, activities and strategies.
