Opportunity of a Lifetime

We are working on an exciting new project offering talented designers in the UK an opportunity to work in Australia. This would be a fully sponsored role, and our client would conduct all necessary paperwork on your behalf.

This is a permanent position based out of one of our showrooms in Sydney or various locations on the East and Central Coast.

The package includes:

  • Salary $70,000 - $80,000 + Commission
  • Average take-home pay: $150,000 per designer

As a Kitchen Designer, you will be responsible for translating customers' preferences into three-dimensional plans and gaining their commitment to purchasing a new kitchen. You will conduct in-home design appointments, ensuring plans and contracts are completed and signed by the customer, and collecting deposits from customers.

You will work closely with Assistant Showroom Managers and Showroom Consultants for their success, creating leads and qualifying kitchen customers, and ensuring effective conversion of leads to contracts through professional customer presentations.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Translating customers' preferences into three-dimensional plans
  2. Conducting in-home design appointments
  3. Ensuring plans and contracts are completed and signed by the customer
  4. Collecting deposits from customers

Your key accountabilities & tasks will include:

  1. Achieving monthly orders and design conversions KPIs as directed by the showroom manager
  2. Arranging follow-up appointments as needed
  3. Attending sales meetings weekly as needed
  4. Participating in monthly promotional launch meetings as advised

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in kitchen design (required)
  • Ability to relocate to London, Greater London before starting work (required)
