Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a dynamic and fun environment.

The Role:

  • This is a part-time position requiring a minimum of 34 hours per fortnight, with weekend shifts and additional function hours included.
  • Key responsibilities will include maintaining catering standards, complying with occupational health and safety (OH&S) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements, and prioritizing waste reduction.
  • You will also support kitchen operations through inventory management, receiving supplies, and monitoring cold room controls.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service in all interactions will be essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required, along with previous experience in restaurants or functions and proven experience in large commercial kitchens.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergen management, and food safety is necessary.
  • You should be passionate about quality, with a focus on presentation and attention to detail, and goal-oriented, committed to personal and organizational success.
