
Sales Valuation Specialist

At McDonald Jones Homes, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Sales Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our sales estimation process, you will be responsible for accurately determining and calculating estimates of new quote requests.

About the Opportunity:
Key Responsibilities:Estimating on a range of homes, including single storey, split-level and double-storey designs
Generation of site costs, including cut/fill operations and dropped edge beam and/or dropped garage calculations
Completion of sales tenders on registered and unregistered land, utilising site inspection photos and reports, satellite photos and street view by near map
Reading and interpreting construction plans, checking of compliance and construction methodology
Creation of pre-contract variation pricing and preparation of scope of works
Liaising with various internal stakeholders
Assisting with other areas, including but not limited to contract variations
About You:We are looking for an individual who shares our passion for delivering exceptional results and is committed to excellence in all aspects of their work. The ideal candidate will possess:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role and industry
- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards
- Experience interpreting building plans and associated reports and documentation
- Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets
- Ability to work autonomously and within a wider team
- Demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems
