Land Acquisitions Specialist

This is a temporary full-time opportunity to work on high-impact projects that deliver real value to communities.
The role involves leading and delivering land sale and divestment projects within defined timeframes, as well as preparing comprehensive assessments for delegated decision-makers under the Crown Land Management Act 2016.
You will coordinate acquisition, sale, and vesting initiatives across diverse portfolios, provide expert advice on complex land status, statutory divestment, and land sales, and manage internal and external service providers across planning, valuation, legal, and marketing functions.
Additionally, you will build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including government agencies, local councils, industry, and community groups, and represent the department in forums, committees, and cross-functional teams.
About You- You have proven experience in land management, property divestment, or government asset disposal.
- You possess strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret legislation and policy.
- You have excellent stakeholder engagement and project coordination capabilities.
- You have commercial acumen and understanding of valuation, planning, and legal frameworks.
- You have high attention to detail and proficiency in financial and data management systems.
