Lead Technician Field Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Technician Field Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will provide technical support to internal employees via various channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide desktop and server support, including hardware and network installation and troubleshooting.
  • O365 experience is essential, as well as software and hardware diagnostic skills and the ability to build and upgrade PC's.
  • Active Directory management, operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and other operating systems), and prior experience working in hardware break and fix, installation, desk-side software support, and service desk support.
  • Support for hardware such as laptops, desktops, and monitors, as well as printing (installation, deployment, configuration, disposals).
  • Complex software installation and troubleshooting, network triaging, fault diagnostic, and root cause analysis.
Requirements:
  • NV2 Security Clearance preferred. Minimum NV1 security clearance must have for this role.
  • Proven experience in a technical support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.
  • Experience with supporting a corporate Windows and Linux environment.
  • Experience with supporting physical and virtual environments (Desktop and Servers).
  • Active Directory management.
  • Operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and other operating systems).
  • Office 365, Outlook, exchange, and other critical business application support.

Success in this role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
