About the Role

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and effective marketing professional with exceptional organisational and communication skills looking to build a career in financial services.

The Marketing Associate will have a dotted reporting line to, and will work closely with, the Channel Marketing Manager to play an important role in supporting the marketing efforts of the Australian business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing plans.
  • Work with design and paid media agency to ensure timely production and delivery of paid media assets.
  • Work with external vendors in the production of email newsletters, webcasts, and client marketing campaigns.
  • Assist the marketing team in the execution of marketing events, including in-house functions and external conference sponsorships.
  • Gather and analyse metrics for marketing-related activities, assist in preparing campaign and post-event reports, manage stakeholder reporting, and deliver actionable recommendations based on findings where required.
  • Conduct competitor research to identify marketing trends and insights to support marketing strategies.
  • Coordinate with compliance to ensure all materials produced are fully compliant with regulations.
  • Assist with other marketing projects and activities to support the business as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other business-related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' marketing experience in the financial services industry, ideally within asset management.
  • Solid understanding of the Australian investment management industry including investment products, the needs of the financial adviser audience, and the competitor landscape.
