Job Title: Experienced Graphics and Windowing System Software Engineer.

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team in developing high-performance graphics and windowing system technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C++ and Rust programming languages, as well as experience with Linux development platforms. They will also be able to collaborate effectively with a distributed team, remaining highly motivated, productive, and organized.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement features across the Mir stack
  • Assist in debugging, tracking down and fixing issues
  • Participate in engineering process through code and architectural review
  • Create and improve tests and performance benchmarks to catch issues early
  • Create and maintain documentation to enhance developer experience
  • Engage with open source community and commercial partners
  • Collaborate proactively with distributed team


Requirements:
  • Excellent Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, STEM or similar and 2+ years of working experience
  • Excellent modern C++ and excellent Rust programming skills
  • Familiarity with Linux as a development and deployment platform
  • Ability to collaborate remotely with diverse set of team members and remain highly motivated, productive, and organized
