Visionary Graphics and Windowing System Developer

We are on a mission to enable the whole spectrum of graphics from single-purpose screens through edge devices to full desktop environments. We set the pace for graphics enablement across the ecosystem.
The role entails designing and implementing features across the Mir stack, assisting in debugging and fixing issues, participating in our engineering process, creating and improving tests and performance benchmarks, maintaining documentation, engaging with the open source community and commercial partners, and collaborating with a distributed team.
What we look for in you:
- Excellent degree in Computer Science or similar and 2+ years of experience
- Strong modern C++ and Rust programming skills
- Familiarity with Linux as a development and deployment platform
- Ability to collaborate remotely and remain highly motivated, productive, and organized
Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with Wayland protocol ecosystem and compositors
- Familiarity with OpenGL, Vulkan, Flutter and other graphics, toolkits and animation frameworks
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency patterns
- Proven ability to deliver robust code to production
