Overview We are looking for an experienced Windows 11 Migration Engineer to support the planning, technical design, and execution of our Windows 11 upgrade program.
The role involves delivering discovery workshops, defining migration processes, implementing the prioritised backlog, and migrating up to 10,000 devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Key Responsibilities Deliver discovery and planning workshops for Windows 11 deployment and upgrade.
Provide outputs to digest and prioritise for implementation specific to the Windows 11 upgrade.
Define, document, and optimise the technical process for Windows 11 migration.
Implement the agreed prioritised backlog in alignment with project milestones.
Execute migration activities for up to 10,000 devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
Support user story and task development during product backlog planning.
Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth deployment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during migration.
Skills & Experience Required Hands-on experience in large-scale Windows 10/11 migrations and deployments.
Strong technical knowledge of Windows OS upgrades, device compatibility, and deployment tools (SCCM, Intune, Endpoint Manager, Autopilot).
Familiarity with Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, and group policy management.
Experience with imaging, packaging, and software distribution in enterprise environments.
Knowledge of security, compliance, and patch management for Windows devices.
Ability to work in Agile environments, including backlog planning and task execution.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
