We're currently seeking several experienced Electrical Estimators to join leading contractors delivering high profile commercial projects across NSW. These roles will see you working on complex and varied projects, reporting directly to senior leadership, and playing a key role in competitive tenders and client relationships.

The Role:

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll:

  • Lead and prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial construction, fitout, and refurbishment projects.
  • Manage tender processes from initial take-off through to submission.
  • Build and maintain strong client, subcontractor, and supplier relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with the Managing Director and Division Managers to develop costings, establish labour rates, and ensure competitive and compliant submissions.
About You:
  • Experience: 3+ years in electrical estimating within commercial construction.
  • Project Scope: Delivered projects of $2M+ in value.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of NSW commercial construction (new build and refurbishment).
  • Background: Electrical trade or engineering background preferred.
  • Results driven with exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review all client, regulatory, and statutory requirements for compliance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare take-offs, bills of quantities, labour rates, and material costings.
  • Develop, review, and submit competitive tenders within deadlines.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve best value.
  • Support and mentor junior team members where required.
  • Foster long-term client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
