**Job Overview**

We are seeking a Bookkeeper with approximately 2-3 years' previous experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and team working abilities, and live reasonably locally in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for duties such as BAS, invoices, payroll and reconciliations. They will liaise with a wide variety of clients and perform bookkeeping duties, processing accounts payable invoices and creating payments, reconciling bank transactions in the accounting system, processing payroll on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis, maintaining depreciation schedules, other general ledger reconciliations and adjustments, and preparing monthly/quarterly IAS and BAS.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

We require the following skills and qualifications:

  • Approximately 2-3 years' experience in a Bookkeeping function
  • Certification or qualifications in bookkeeping, BAS or relevant fields are highly regarded
