Senior Bookkeeper – Part-Time (Remote)
Join a modern, Xero-only bookkeeping firm supporting small to medium-sized businesses across Australia.
We are a boutique bookkeeping practice based in Brisbane and Melbourne, operating fully remotely. We specialise exclusively in Xero and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, personalised service to our clients.
We're currently seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis. We will also consider full-time for the right candidate. This is a flexible, remote role with the option to work from our Melbourne office if desired.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end bookkeeping using Xero
- Payroll processing and compliance
- Preparation and lodgement of IAS/BAS
- Superannuation Guarantee (SGC) forms and TPAR reporting
- Responding to client queries and providing exceptional support
- Assisting with broader practice management tasks as needed
About You
- Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accounting or bookkeeping firm
- Strong understanding of payroll, GST, and Australian compliance requirements
- Advanced knowledge of Australian payroll compliance is required
- Excellent time management and organisational skills is critical
- Highly trustworthy and reliable
- Experience with XPM, Hubdoc, and Dext is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with FYI document management software is a plus, but not essential
- The role is fully remote but we require you to live in Australia
- Minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping qualification is required
