A dynamic and collaborative environment exists for a skilled Bookkeeper to support a diverse portfolio of clients. This role offers exposure to various bookkeeping and advisory functions in a fast-paced setting.
About the Role
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provision of comprehensive bookkeeping services, including bank reconciliations and journal entries.
- End-to-end payroll processing, encompassing payroll tax and award interpretation.
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS statements (monthly and quarterly).
- Accounts payable and receivable management.
- Monthly financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
- Maintenance of fixed asset registers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of bookkeeping experience.
- Relevant bookkeeping qualifications.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero and MYOB software.
- Experience interpreting Payroll Awards and preparing BAS, financial reports, and payroll.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Positive, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute.
