Position Overview:

The Community Engagement Program Leader will play a pivotal role in our Disability Inclusion team. This leadership position is designed for those who are either at the beginning of their leadership journey or have substantial experience in program coordination.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and planning personalized in-home and community support services.
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of dedicated support workers, ensuring they are equipped to provide exceptional care.
  • Organizing tailored training and orientation for staff to enhance service delivery.
  • Creating a supportive work environment that attracts and retains talented employees.
  • Managing program budgets and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Identifying and pursuing new opportunities to expand our services.
  • Participating in a rotating on-call schedule, providing hands-on support and training as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in program coordination within the community or disability services sector.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and coordinating service delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current certifications in First Aid and CPR, along with a Diploma in Community Services or equivalent qualifications.
  • Legal eligibility to work in Australia.
  • A commitment to integrity, respect, and care for others.
