Workforce Planning Specialist

This is a key role in our organisation, focusing on workforce planning strategies across departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing staffing trends, turnover rates, and operational forecasts to identify workforce gaps.

About the Role:

The Workforce Planning Specialist will lead and implement workforce planning strategies across departments, collaborating with management on organisational structure, position planning, and workforce optimisation. They will also support recruitment processes by providing data-driven hiring recommendations and coordinate onboarding and induction to ensure a seamless transition for new staff.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience specifically in workforce planning or strategic HR planning
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, workforce metrics, and data analytics
  • Proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, and workforce modelling tools
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of modern awards and employment law (especially Fair Work Act)
  • High attention to detail, with strong organisational and time management abilities
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong ethical standards
