Workforce Planning Specialist Role Overview:
This position plays a key part in creating efficient workforce planning solutions by managing daily rostering and leave planning, while working closely with operations and HR teams to forecast requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate rosters aligned with operational needs and industry standards.
- Evaluate and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
- Keep workforce planning data up to date.
- Manage annual leave planning, ensuring deadlines are met and impacts are forecasted.
- Highlight workforce gaps early and develop release plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support effective workforce planning.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in workforce planning/rostering with knowledge of industry standards and awards.
- Skilled in data analysis, process improvement, and actionable recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail and process focus.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills across all levels.
- Able to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and handle urgent requests.
- A customer-focused individual with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
